Blake Shropshire serves as the Senior Pastor at Westside Christian Church, where his mission is to lead the congregation in living out the teachings of Jesus Christ and advancing the Kingdom of God. With nearly a decade of ministry experience, Blake has a passion for preaching, teaching, and helping others grow in their faith.
Blake holds a Masters degree in Christian Ministry from Emmanuel Christian Seminary at Milligan University. His approach to ministry emphasizes the practical application of God’s Word, especially through the teachings of Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount. He is committed to helping individuals and families grow in their faith and deepen their relationship with Christ.
Blake is a bi-vocational pastor, so in addition to his ministry work, he works as a Mortgage Loan Originator at CMG Home Loans. His job at CMG allows plenty of flexibility for him to do his work pastoring the church.
More than anything, Blake loves being with his family. He and his wife, Heather, are high school sweethearts, and have the joy of being parents to three amazing children.
